I am running to continue the focus on improvement of student outcomes, to equip teachers with the tools they need to do their job at the highest level and to bring community support back into the schools.

We need an educator on the board who knows firsthand what it is like to be in the classroom everyday with children at all levels of learning. I understand the responsibility educators bear, the pressures they face, and the resources they need to effectively teach our community’s students, helping them — alongside their parents — grow to be our citizens of tomorrow. 

I believe we can be an “A” district. The momentum to succeed is already in place, and as long as we focus on the future together, our community can grow to be proud of all of our public schools — confident that each student in Midland has the educational opportunities and support they need to succeed.
